POPCORN MOZILLA

POPCORN LAB

Come to Makers of Barcelona on 26th January for 2 hours of web native film-making.

From 20:00 to 22:00 we will explore the power of Popcorn, a JavaScript-powered library that takes the online video to another dimension.

During the two hours you’ll be given a short tour of Popcorn and Popcorn Maker, Mozilla’s open source tool for creating web video mash-ups.

You will learn:
•        how to create a simple video mash-up using Popcorn Maker;
•        if you are a JavaScript geek, discover the power and flexibility of Popcorn library;
•        if you are a filmmaker, you’ll have the chance to experiment hands on with Popcorn and see how the awesomeness of open web technologies can change the way we tell stories;
•        you’ll learn to write some lines of code too! (it’ll be fun, we guarantee)

This workshop is organized by Alina Mierlus.
